2.19.0 Early Access Release

Release Summary

This release introduces enhanced Revit synchronization options to protect room connections on occurrences, allows editing of existing quantities on templated room occurrences without deriving rooms, and extends administrative support for alphanumeric room function number serials.

What is new

[DROFUS-75188] Protection of Room Connections in Revit Occurrence Synchronization

  • "Do not update room relationship" synchronization option: A new setting is available across Revit synchronization dialogs—including Sync selected instances, Sync current view, Import as system component, Systems, and Items ↔ Families—as well as in Model options.

  • Prevention of blanked room associations: When active, synchronization will not clear or remove existing room connections if Revit is unable to locate the room/space, preventing unintended data loss while still allowing updates when instances move between rooms.

[DROFUS-75089] Independent Existing Quantity on Templated Room Occurrences

  • Direct editing of existing quantities: Users can now edit the "Existing quantity" property on room occurrences directly, even when the Item list is linked to a room template.

  • Elimination of unnecessary derived rooms: Removes the requirement to switch room equipment status to "derived" merely to adjust existing quantities, preserving template connections across projects.

[DROFUS-75183] Extended Alphanumeric Room Function Number Serials

  • Support for alphanumeric serial numbers: Administrative settings for room function number serials now support running numbers containing letters and digits (e.g., 0A2645).

  • Expanded character length: The serial number field format has been updated to support 6 characters, with capability up to 8 characters to accommodate custom project numbering standards.

Early Access considerations

  • Pre-release status: Version 2.19.0 is an Early Access release and is not yet generally available (GA).

  • Target audience: Intended for testing, validation, and feedback by designated Early Access customers and administrators.
