Multiproject Database Users

When a project shares a database with another project, it is a multiproject single database. This allows users on different projects to have different or shared permissions as they share the database together. See Permissions for more details on permissions in general.

Multiproject Database Users

When a database has multiple projects, this view allows admin users to see a full list of users across all projects and the permissions defined for each project.

Database Users can also be seen in any project that shares a database.

Shared User Groups

When users share user groups across the database, the user admin can see which user groups are shared and which projects share them.

  1. The user group applied to the user within the project

  2. The shared user group and the listed other projects it is being used in. Changing the user group would affect all projects that use it.

Access to all projects

There are times when you want a user to be added to all projects in a shared database, so there is no longer a need to add them manually each time. Having this option checked when adding the user offers this solution.

  1. Check true to ensure the user will be added to all projects. The permissions defined will be the same across all projects.
